SECOND

This morning, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Everything was planned, all that could be done was done. All I had now was hopes and I could either choose to worry about them or be expectant for them to happen.

I hoped my assembly would flow

I hoped people would come to our event

I hoped pupils would engage with the activities

I hoped people would find peace in our event

Today at Kent College we created a prayer space. A room full of interactive prayer stations for pupils to reflect on ‘peace’. This morning I chose to keep my hopes expectant and not hand them over to worry. Instead of opening my ‘door’ to overthinking. I trusted that I had done enough. and my hopes became reality…
